Marcus Williams, former Texas A&M guard, announces transfer destination

Marcus Williams is on the move again after a season at Texas A&M. The former Aggie guard announced Monday that he has decided on San Francisco as his transfer destination.

Williams arrived at Texas A&M ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, after a season at Wyoming when he earned MWC Freshman of the Year honors. With the Aggies, Williams played in 27 games, making 25 starts. Williams posted averages of 7.9 points, 3.4 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 steals over 24.5 minutes per game. He shot 36.2% from the field and 28.3% from 3-point territory in his season at Texas A&M.

At Wyoming, Williams appeared in all 25 games with 24 starts, averaging 14.8 points per game to go along with 4.3 assists.
