Former Texas A&M star Von Miller explains why he was willing to pay a high price for farting in team meetings
How much is passing gas freely worth to you?
For Von Miller, it’s apparently worth quite a bit of money.
The former Texas A&M and current Denver Broncos star revealed that he was fined an insane $15,000 for farting during team meetings. He went into more detail about that during his interview on the Dan LeBatard Show.
Dan LeBatard Show: “How many times have you been fined for farting in meeting rooms?”
Miller: “Early in my career, the Super Bowl year in 2015, farts were around $500 a pop. I ended up getting hit for about $15,000. So, what is that, 30 farts? That’s 30 farts … over a season. So, that’s low. I can really knock out 30 in like a week.
“The way I feel about it is we are grown men. We are grown men. I’m not about to get up out of my seat, go outside, pass gas and come back in. That’s just not what I’m about to do. I’m going to take the fine.”
After that Super Bowl season, Miller didn’t hold back his gas when he was on “Dancing with the Stars.” And it cost him some money for that, too.

There’s no word on if Miller’s flatulence tapered off with the Broncos having a down year.
If it did, at least there was one part of 2017 that didn’t stink for Denver.
