It feels like former Texas A&M star defensive end Myles Garrett has been the favorite to go No. 1 overall in the upcoming NFL draft since he first suited up for the Aggies.

That’s obviously an exaggeration, but Garrett’s combination of on-field production and rare physical gifts have kept him at the pole position for well over a year. At this weekend’s NFL Combine, Garrett checked all of the boxes with a workout that left nearly everyone impressed.

The 6-foot-4, 272-pound defensive end ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds, put up 33 reps in the bench press and jumped an incredible 41 inches in the vertical jump and 128 inches in the broad jump.

Garrett’s workout undoubtedly cemented his status as one of the best players in this year’s draft class, but @NFLResearch released some comparisons on Twitter that are truly amazing.

Garrett compares favorably to some of the NFL’s biggest stars. The diversity of players on that list shows just how versatile Garrett’s skillset is and why teams have valued him so highly.
