Nation’s No. 8 offensive center stays in-state, commits to Texas A&M

Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M added to their 2021 signing class on Friday, as the Aggies gained a commitment from offensive center Remington Strickland, who announced the news of his pledge on his Twitter account.
According to 247Sports, Strickland is the nation’s No. 8 player at his position in his class. The in-state offensive lineman from Fort Bend Christian Academy becomes the 18th player to commit to the Aggies in this recruiting cycle, with the Early Signing Period set to begin on Wednesday. He also joins 4-star tackles Reuben Fatheree and Trey Zuhn as offensive line commits, along with 3-star tackle Matthew Wykoff.
The Aggies currently have the 6th-ranked class in the SEC and are slotted at No. 15 nationally.
Strickland is expected to enroll this month at A&M, according to 247Sports.
