The Texas A&M Aggies are going to have a hole to fill on their offensive coaching staff prior to the 2019 season.

According to a report from the Cincinnati Enquirer, OL coach Jim Turner is expected to join the Cincinnati Bengals in the same capacity as a member of new coach Zac Taylor’s staff.

Turner is an experienced coach and has a history with Taylor, but he also has some major controversies in his past:

Sources indicate those expected to join the staff from the outside are James Casey (tight ends) and current Texas A&M offensive line coach Jim Turner filling the same role in Cincinnati. …

Controversy has followed Turner, though. He was offensive line coach in Miami when the bullying scandal with offensive linemen Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito hit and also was suspended three weeks at Texas A&M for offensive powerpoint slides used during a football clinic for women. He issued an apology as part of the process.

Just when you thought the coaching carousel season was finally over, the NFL comes knocking at the door.

Who the Aggies hire to fill the position remains to be seen.
