Back in December, Texas A&M DT Zaycoven Henderson was arrested following an incident in which he and another person allegedly pointed a loaded rifle at three women outside an apartment complex.

The senior defender was then suspended from the team, missing the Belk Bowl. However, he has now been reinstated, according to his agent, Waukeen McCoy.

McCoy confirmed the news on Twitter over the weekend, as you can see below:

McCoy also spoke to TheEagle.com, saying he hopes the matter has now been settled:

“As of now, the suspension has been lifted,” McCoy said. “The case has been remanded back to the school administrators so they can decide on what they want to do next. We’re hopeful that they won’t go forward, with any other charge.”

Of course, Henderson has used up his eligibility for Texas A&M, but having the suspension taken off the record will help him moving forward, if that’s what indeed happens. That’s because the NFL doesn’t invite any players with violent crimes on their records to pre-draft events.

What happens next remains to be seen, but for now, Henderson has been reinstated and we’ll have to wait to see if more comes of this case.
