Texas A&M has had a forgettable 2022 season thus far. The Aggies enter Saturday’s game licking their wounds from the 3-5 start. Bowl eligibility is in question with games against Florida, Auburn and LSU remaining.

Things are apparently got a little bit worse Saturday as the Aggies are set to host struggling Florida.

ESPN insider Pete Thamel reported Saturday morning that a flu outbreak at Texas A&M has multiple players in flux for the game, including starting quarterback Conner Weigman.

“Sources: A flu outbreak at Texas A&M — in the team and the campus — will leave the status of multiple A&M players in flux for today’s game against Florida. QB Conner Weigman is among the players who is questionable for Texas A&M,” Thamel tweeted.

This isn’t the news Texas A&M needs right now. The Gators sit 4-4 on the season, and it’s easily a winnable game for Texas A&M. However, a flu outbreak complicates things.

We’ll have to wait until game time to see which players are able to go.
