Texas A&M hosted 5-star wide receiver Jerome Myles on a visit to Kyle Field Saturday for the game against Texas.

On Sunday, Myles reopened his recruitment and publicly decommitted from USC’s 2025 class. In a post on his Instagram story, he referenced “talking with my family and God.” Myles later posted a screenshot of that story on his Twitter page.

Myles is a significant target for coach Mike Elko and his staff as the Early Signing Period approaches. The Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon wideout is the No. 5 wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 23 overall recruit in the class.

He has been compared to former Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze and was productive as a junior despite an injury-riddled year.

Myles’ recruitment has been a whirlwind. He committed to Ole Miss in late April, just days after taking an official visit to Oxford. Following OVs to Utah and Texas A&M in June, he backed off that pledge to the Rebels.

USC offered a month later, got him on campus for an OV during the first week of September, and landed a verbal commitment from him on Sept. 18. At that time, Utah and A&M were also finalists.

With the Early Signing Period opening on Wednesday, Dec. 4, the Aggies will be looking to move quickly. Elko has put together the 11th-ranked class, which holds 22 known commitments.
