Tennessee defensive coordinator Bob Shoop has already admitted this week that Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm has not played like a typical freshman this season.

Bob Shoop told reporters that the Vols will need some help from fans in the form of a loud Neyland Stadium on Saturday when Georgia visits Tennessee at 3:30 p.m. in a game to be televised on CBS.

“This will be his first SEC road game, we’ve got to get Neyland (Stadium) rockin’ on Saturday,” Shoop said. “We’ve got to introduce him to what SEC football’s all about.”

Fromm has led Georgia to an undefeated record since he replaced starter Jacob Eason, who injured his left knee in the season opener against Appalachian State.

Fromm has put up seven touchdowns to one interception, which is the second-best ratio among the top 10 quarterbacks in the SEC behind Vanderbilt’s Kyle Shurmur. He’s completed 62 percent of his passes for 650 yards.
