Braylon Staley, 4-star WR from South Carolina, reveals SEC pledge

Braylon Staley is a 4-star wide receiver out of Aiken High School in Aiken, South Carolina. One of the best WRs in the country and a key prospect out of South Carolina, Staley revealed his college commitment on Friday.
Staley had previously announced a final group that included North Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson and Miami. In the end, Josh Heupel’s Vols program won out for Staley’s pledge.

Staley is listed at 6 feet and 180 pounds and also competes in track and field. The 247 Sports Composite rates Staley as the 25th WR in the country, the No. 3 player out of South Carolina and the 164th overall player for the 2024 recruiting cycle.
Staley’s commitment gives Tennessee 15 players in the 2024 recruiting class. He’s currently the highest-rated WR in that group with the Vols’ class currently ranked 12th nationally per the 247 Sports Team Composite.
