Tennessee basketball will reportedly play in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden next season

Tennessee and Gonzaga are reportedly meeting on the court once again.
The two programs met back in 2018 with Tennessee leaving the court a surprising 76-73 victors against previously undefeated Gonzaga and the Vols may be looking at another potential marquee matchup in 2020 as the two programs are reportedly meeting in the upcoming Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.
News of the matchup was first announced by Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
The other matchup in the Jimmy V Classic is set to be Baylor and Rutgers. Both of those teams are projected to be ranked heading into the preseason, as well.
