Hendon Hooker keeps rising up Joel Klatt’s NFL Draft board, and recently moved up 4 spots.

The FOX Sports analyst has Hooker at No. 41 in his NFL Draft 2.0 of the top 50 players available.

“The fact that he stays so quiet and poised in the pocket,” Klatt said. “Remember, this is a wide receiver-led offense. That’s not a knock against Hendon Hooker, it just means that he’s gotta be on the same page, diagnose defenses in real time, post-snap for those down-field reads from the wide receiver and then he’s gotta be accurate and efficient throwing the ball into vertical zones and seams and he does that really well.”

However, Klatt admitted that he’s a bit nervous about the system translating to the NFL.

“But I think he’s a guy at 25 years old that’s going to come in and have a really positive impact on that quarterback room wherever he’s selected,” Klatt said.
