The best recruiting tool for Rick Barnes Tennessee program in Europe? The growth of Yves Pons’ game on Rocky Top.
After arriving as a raw prospect, Pons will leave Knoxville after winning SEC Defensive Player of the Year and having the offensive skills necessary to likely be selected in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Now Barnes and his Tennessee program have a new European prospect to mold as Quentin Diboundje of France has just announced his commitment to the Vols.
Diboundje will be a member of Tennessee’s 2021 recruiting class. Diboundje is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard and hails from Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla.
He is the third member of the 2021 recruiting cycle to join the Vols.
Thank you again to my mentor and to everybody around me that has helped me make my dream come true.
