In his first year of retirement, Peyton Manning has said he will be the biggest Tennessee football fan. On Monday, it was revealed he plans to be on hand for three of the Volunteers’ biggest games of the season.

It’s no surprise to see Manning has plans to attend the Sept. 10 “Battle at Bristol” between UT and Virginia Tech, a matchup he’s helped promote. In chronological order, the second game he attends will actually be the meeting with Texas A&M on Oct. 8 in the Volunteers’ first trip to College Station since the Aggies joined the SEC. And if the season plays out as the experts expect, the Alabama-Tennessee showdown on The Third Saturday in October will be one of the most anticipated games in all of college football and an obvious choice for a visit to Neyland Stadium.

Manning made the trip to Tuscaloosa last season, when the Vols lost a heartbreaker to the Crimson Tide 19-14.
