Report: Tennessee will play in the Music City Bowl
According to the Tennessean, the Tennessee Volunteers will be heading to Nashville for the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
Tennessee finished 8-4 on the season and is set to most likely face a Big Ten opponent in the bowl game.
The Vols last played in the Music City Bowl against North Carolina in 2010 and lost 30-27 in double overtime.
The decision is set to be made official this afternoon.
The Music City Bowl will be played at 2:30 p.m. on December 30 at Nissan Stadium.
And Tier 2 Tennessee fan said all year They would be in the SEC title game
No idea why a Kentucky fan would ever say anything to anyone about football.
So that must make and Kensucky tier 13? How do you still run your mouth after getting beat?
Maybe they can add to their Bristol Trophy and Life Championship…
Nice but you should lay off
Jones is building brick by brick
Still have our November tradition of stompin a mud hole in Sucky’s A$$ to look forward to every year.
Pathetic. Won’t even be worth watching.
Pathetic ending to a season we thought was full of promise. The coaching at Tenn. is piss-poor at best and don’t give me the injury thing.Where is next man up or the developement of younger players?
Doesn’t really work when you lose key players across the entire defense. When you combined 3rd and 4th string linebackers with 270 lb defensive ends playing d-tackle then you get what the Tennessee defense has become. We know Shoop is a good coordinator, he has proven it with much less talent. The team was 5-0, even without DKjr and JRM. But when more and more substantial injuries kept piling up then the inevitable happened. The team was winning when they were healthy and started losing when the loses became more rampant. I didn’t think it was a hard concept to grasp, but I guess I was wrong.
