The Tennessee Volunteers are expected to be one of the best teams in the SEC next season, and coach Rick Barnes just got some more great news on Tuesday afternoon.

That’s because star F Admiral Schofield, who emerged as a team leader in 2017-18, announced he’d return for his senior season and forgo the 2018 NBA Draft.

As you can see in the tweet below, Schofield said he’s hungry to win another championship after splitting a regular-season SEC crown with Auburn last year:

“I am very grateful for my recent opportunities to compete and display my talents in front of NBA personnel,” his message reads. “I have learned so much through this NBA Draft evaluation process and am looking forward to improving the areas of my game that need it while also improving as a man. With that said, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be returning to Tennessee for my senior season, and I am focused and hungry to once again chase championships with my teammates!”

Schofield averaged 13.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 2017-18, so getting him back is huge for Barnes.
