The Tennessee Volunteers are going through a coaching change and potentially face major NCAA sanctions in the wake of Jeremy Pruitt’s firing.

They’ve already lost a number of key players to the NCAA transfer portal, including LB Henry To’o To’o and RB Eric Gray.

However, not everyone is leaving. On Monday evening, OL Darnell Wright took to Twitter to announce (very matter-of-factly) that he was staying with the Vols:

The Vols signed 2 5-star offensive linemen in the class of 2019 — Wright and Wanya Morris. Morris transferred to Oklahoma earlier this month, but Wright, who has started 16 games in 2 seasons on Rocky Top, will return in 2021.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Wright was the No. 10 overall player in the 2019 class, the No. 2 offensive tackle and the No. 1 recruit from the state of West Virginia.
