The first flip of National Signing Day has already happened.

Tennessee RB commit Anthony Grant flipped to Florida State during a ceremony at his school Wednesday morning and will sign with the Seminoles. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound prospect from Buford, Georgia, is rated a 3-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 17 overall RB and the Peach State’s No. 43 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Grant had been committed to the Vols since June 25, 2017, but the Noles made a late push after offering him a scholarship on January 19. He visited Tallahassee this past weekend and boasted offers from 23 schools, including Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, among others.

Grant became FSU’s lone RB commit for the class of 2018.

Following Grant’s decommitment, 3-star Jeremy Banks is the only RB commit/signee in Tennessee’s 2018 recruiting class currently.
