Tony Vitello, Frank Anderson suspensions announced after ejections on Saturday
Tony Vitello and the Tennessee Volunteers are off to a great start to the 2022 season. So far, the Vols have an overall record of 32-3 and have an SEC record of 13-1.
But, on Saturday night in a 9-2 win over Alabama, Vitello and pitching coach Frank Anderson were ejected following a confrontation with the umpire.
Vitello bumped the umpire during the altercation, and now it is reported that he has been suspended for 4 games. Anderson received a 1-game ban:

Vols pitching coach Frank Anderson will be back Tuesday.
Vitello will be back for the finale at Florida a week from today.

Anderson will serve his suspension on Sunday in the rubber game against the Tide. Vitello will be eligible to return next Sunday at Florida.
