Twitter goes bonkers with epic Tennessee-Georgia finish
In what’s been the most exciting college football game to date in the 2016 season, the Tennessee Volunteers were able to outlast the Georgia Bulldogs on a last-second 43-yard Hail Mary pass from QB Josh Dobbs to WR Jauan Jennings for a final score of 34-31.
This play came on the heels of Georgia taking a 3-point lead just seconds prior — when Georgia signal-caller Jacob Eason found a streaking Riley Ridley for a 47-yard score with just 0:10 remaining.
Sanford Stadium went from sheer euphoria to sorrow in a matter of minutes. Suffice it to say, but this game more than revved up the scene on Twitter:
The amount of babies being born in Tennessee 9 months from now will be astronomical #TENNvsUGA

What a game! Jacob Eason showed why he's the future of UGA. Then Josh Dobbs reminded us the future isn't quite here yet! #TENNvsUGA

To lose game, UGA needed to
1. Stupidly commit celeb'n pen'y
2. Stupidly pooch KO
3. Stupidly be offside
4. Stupidly give up hail mary

From the moment of his team's biggest deficits (13-3 App, 14-0 VT, 21-0 UF, 17-0 UGA) onward, Dobbs has 15 total TD, 4 INT.
