Vanderbilt-Michigan most-watched baseball game on ESPN this year
The College World Series final between Vanderbilt and Michigan was the most watched baseball or softball game on ESPN this year.
Game three had 2.00 million viewers Wednesday night, which was up 18 percent in ratings and six percent in viewership compared to last year’s final between Arkansas and Oregon State, according to SportsMediaWatch.com.
The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox game on June 2 had 1.97 million viewers, lower than Vandy-Michigan. Outside of that rivalry game, games one and two of Vanderbilt-Michigan also has more viewers than any other baseball games this year.
Certainly, the Southeast was tuning in to watch Vanderbilt, but Michigan’s massive fan base also played a huge part.
The complete three-game series averaged 1.94 million viewers, which was a slight decrease from last year. It’s the second-most watched final since 2014.
That’s impressive. College baseball is definitely growing in popularity. It make the NCAA’s decision to not add a third coach all the more ridiculous.
There was eight (8) openings with the NCAA a few days ago.
I bet they would be overwhelmed with your intelligence.
But good to see you making another post.
The offer is one the table.
Let’s see if your smart enough to take it.
You’re really having a problem aren’t ya?
No one wants to talk to you.
Guess they heard about ya.
The only idiot following me around at 10 pm is you.
Idiot?
The word, MORON, is what got you into this latest review of your ethics. And then you can in with ‘scum’.
In a way I feels sorry for you.
But those feelings quickly disappear.
You need the attention of others.
Crave a response.
And then when I give it, you and your buddies what to whine to who ever will listen about how mistreated you are.
Oh, and jumping back in again on the ‘Louisville’ article and referring to me, was a BAD move.
But hey, I’ve got nothing to do this summer so I guess you will be hearing from me a lot.
And all you have to do is ‘grow up’ admit you lied about me and now are calling me you third grade playground names and I will go away.
Just ain’t got the ‘hanger downs’ to be a man do ya?
Good puppy. Why would I need anyone else when I have you, the fake Kentucky fan that follows me everywhere. You don’t even have to be on a leash.
Ain’t we having fun!
Which one of us is the admitted liar?
I just checked your profile. You started following me around again on the Kentucky article about Kash Daniel. That was before the Louisville article. You are such an idiot you can’t keep your lies straight. Keep lying and trolling though. You make a good puppy.
Again, which of us is the admitted liar?
I saw you commented on a Kentucky site and no one was responding to you so I wanted you to feel welcome.
Have you got a response on the Brad Calipari story yet?
Have you heard from SDS yet?
Me either.
Again, who is the admitted liar?
I didn’t say I started reminding you of being an admitted liar in the Louisville article.
And I don’t need to lie.
I didn’t make the statement about Jimbo Fisher and swear it was the truth. I wasn’t the one, who for over three months repeatedly said some one was the fan of another school and HAD THE PROOF to verify it. Wanta talk about the salary of the NFL scout team?
Your butt is nailed to the wall.
And you think I’m going away?
yea, right.
Are you proud that you won’t admit you are a full on liar? Figures. Nobody here believes you are a Kentucky fan, but you keep pretending and outright lying by saying you are. I believe I have now called you a moron, an idiot, a scumbag, a full on liar, and a troll. All if that is true. I still completely own you. I should just ignore you, but it’s obvious you crave the attention. You’ve never once come here to talk sports, only to troll Kentucky and follow me around like a lost puppy. It’s comical.
Sorry, I forgot village idiot. Again, all true. You’re clearly lacking the brain power to correct me, or anyone else here. I’m sure you will keep trying though. It’s just who you are.
Read your own posts you idiot. That’s exactly what you said. You blamed it on the Louisville article. Now hurry up and post a bunch more so that comment will go away. Idiot.
See what happens when the token hire Mendoza is not part of the broadcast?
