Vanderbilt is going to have a new look during the 2021 season. In more ways than one.

The Commodores are hoping their play will be improved coming off an 0-9 showing in 2020, the first winless season in program history. They’ve brought in Clark Lea to be their new head coach, and they’ll hope to soon turn things around.

Not only will Vandy’s offense and defense potentially look different, but so will its style. On Monday, the team unveiled its new uniforms for 2021 in a hype video on Twitter:

It seems the Commodores will be debuting their new uniforms in their season opener, which is set for Sept. 4 against East Tennessee State. They play three non-conference games (also Sept. 11 at Colorado State and Sept. 18 vs. Stanford) before opening SEC play at home against Georgia on Sept. 25.

With four home games in its first five weeks, Vanderbilt will have plenty of chances to showcase its new uniforms in front of its fans. And perhaps the Commodores could prove to them that their program is heading in the right direction.

At the least, Vandy has nice, fresh unis to wear for the start of its new era.
