Once President Barack Obama’s time in office is over, Alabama’s football program will be able to say that it’s been there four times in those eight years.

That also includes all four national championships the Crimson Tide have won under head coach Nick Saban. He was at the White House again on Wednesday with his team as Obama honored the 2015 national champions.

Obama opened his speech by asking, “Coach, what took you so long?”

Aside from heaping praise on Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry, Obama also pointed out the team’s other three All-Americans in center Ryan Kelly, defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Reggie Ragland.

Obama also took some time to talk about the school’s SEC-best graduation rate and charity work in Tuscaloosa.

Saban got a chance to speak before the team posed with the president.
