Former Alabama QB Blake Sims is working out for NFL teams at running back, according to multiple reports.

The latest team to work out Sims is the Atlanta Falcons — reportedly Friday, and he previously worked out for the Bucs at the same position but left with no offer.

The 6-foot, 212-pound quarterback threw for an Alabama-record 3,487 yards, rushed for 350 yards and scored 35 total touchdowns while leading Alabama to a College Football Playoff appearance during his senior season.

โ€œI think that Blakeโ€™s athleticism, his production (in 2014), are things that people are going to have to take into account,โ€ Nick Saban said after Simsโ€™ Pro Day. โ€œThere are more and more offenses that people are willing to utilize a guy like him. So I do think Blake has a lot to offer a team, and I do think heโ€™s going to get an opportunity with someone.โ€

Can Sims make an NFL roster? It remains to be seen. He’s certainly a good athlete, and he’s clearly willing to change positions to make it happen.
