This year’s Texas A&M team once again features a high-powered offense that we’ve become so accustomed to associating with the Aggies’ program over the last few seasons. However, the defense is nothing to sneeze at as Texas A&M boasts several playmakers on that side of the ball as well.

Here are the five Texas A&M players every Arkansas fan should know before Saturday’s kickoff:

  1. WR Ricky Seals-Jones – Mike Evans may be gone, but opposing defenses won’t have much chance to rest up with Ricky Seals-Jones on the outside. Seals-Jones is 6-foot-5, 225-pounds and creates matchup problems against any team he plays. He’s recorded a receiving touchdown in all but one of Texas A&M’s games this season and has also averaged more than 10 yards per reception in three of four games. He’ll be a handful for Arkansas to match up with throughout Saturday’s contest and may be better off double-teaming him to limit his effectiveness downfield.
  2. DE Myles Garrett – Arguably no true freshman on defense has had a better year in the SEC than Myles Garrett. His unique blend of size, strength and speed has made him a nightmare for opposing offensive lines. Texas A&M leads the SEC with 16 sacks and Garrett is the leader on the Aggies with 5.5 sacks. He’ll come in as a replacement, in order to take advantage of perhaps a tired Arkansas offensive line throughout the game.
  3. S Armani Watts – In just four games, true freshman safety Armani Watts has shown he could be a big-time safety in this league. He delivers as big of hits as anyone at safety, but still has the coverage and speed to play pass coverage over the top. His 20 tackles rank third on the team. If the Razorbacks plan on trying to beat the Aggies with the deep ball, they’ll more than likely have to beat Watts downfield.
  4. OT Cedric Ogbuehi – Luke Joeckel, Jake Matthews, and now Cedric Ogbuehi. The Aggies have a strong recent history of top-end NFL offensive line prospects and it appears Ogbuehi will be the next one in line. At 6-foot-5, 305-pounds, Ogbuehi is a very good offensive tackle that’ll be tasked with defending the likes of Trey Flowers and Taiwain Johnson. He’s an experienced lineman, starting in 34 games in his career for Texas A&M. He’s the cornerstone for Texas A&M’s offensive front, a group that’s allowed just three sacks this season.
  5. QB Kenny Hill – You can’t get through a list like this without mentioning the Aggies’ young quarterback. Kenny Hill has absolutely taken on the responsibility of replacing Johnny Manziel. The sophomore standout has thrown 13 touchdowns and just one interception, all while leading Texas A&M to the SEC’s highest scoring offense and the best passing attack.
