Four-star offensive lineman Jalen Merrick played the game well, as nobody knew where he’d commit Sunday. But he couldn’t hide it any longer.

Merrick will play for the Arkansas Razorbacks during his collegiate years, and he’ll enroll Monday.

The New Smyrna Beach, Florida, prospect chose the Hogs over Florida and Florida State. The 6-5, 295-pound offensive guard is ranked as the 13th best at his position in the country and rated the 31st best player in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.

Arkansas continues to build its program from the inside out, and Bret Bielema continues to pull some big-time prospects out of the Sunshine State.
