Auburn has scheduled a home-and-home series with Penn State for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, according to athletic director Jay Jacobs. The first of the two matchups will be played in State College before the Tigers host their Big Ten opponent at Jordan-Hare Stadium the following year.

“This is another great opportunity for our players and fans to be part of something special,” Jacobs said. “Bringing together elite programs rich in tradition is what college football is all about. We look forward to this home-and-home series with Penn State.”

Although this isn’t the first time Auburn has faced Penn State — the Tigers have a 1-1 record against PSU, most recently winning 13-9 in the 2003 Capital One Bowl — it will mark the first time it has played a Big Ten opponent during the regular season in program history.
