After failing to participate in any of fall camp, the status of Miami of Ohio graduate transfer cornerback Marshall Taylor looked grim at Auburn, however the veteran defensive back has reportedly rejoined the football program over the weekend.

Taylor has yet to suit up for the Tigers after transferring over the summer thanks to an off-the-field injury suffered at a party with former Auburn running back Jovon Robinson. The incident led to Robinson being kicked off the team, however Taylor was allowed to remain on the team.

According to James Crepea of AL.com, Taylor rejoined Auburn over the weekend and is expected to participate in practice this week. When asked recently regarding the status of Taylor, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn could not give a definitive answer on his return to the gridiron.

“We’ll just have to wait and see how everything progresses,” Malzahn said on Saturday. “It’s hard to say right now.”

Marshall comes to Auburn after making 109 tackles, three interceptions and 12 pass deflections in three seasons of play for Miami of Ohio.
