Jarrett Stidham is officially an Auburn Tiger.
The former Baylor quarterback and No. 1 overall JUCO prospect signed with his new team on Wednesday morning:
Officially a part of the @FootballAU family! Time to get to work! #WDE
— Jarrett Stidham (@Jarrett_Stidham) December 14, 2016
Stidham announced last Saturday his decision to end his six-month free agent period and join the Auburn family after coach Gus Malzahn’s continuous (and successful) efforts to aquire his services.
In 10 games with Baylor, Stidham proved very impressive, completing 75 of his 109 pass attempts (68.9 percent) for 1,265 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions, adding 70 yards and two more scores as a runner.
Simply put, he’s a game-changer for Auburn. And he’ll have three years of eligibility to play for the Tigers — starting next season — if he chooses to stay that long.
