Florida LB Jarrad Davis pushing to return from injury against Georgia
Jarrad Davis doesn’t want to miss this weekend’s Florida-Georgia game.
The senior linebacker sustained a sprained ankle against in a 40-14 win against Missouri on Oct. 15 and is pushing himself for a quick return after the Gators’ open date last Saturday.
#Gators S Marcus Maye said injured LB Jarrad Davis is doing everything he can to come back, in training room 24/7.

Davis has a team-leading 48 tackles to go along with two sacks and three quarterback hurries. His return would be a huge boost for a Florida defense intent on stopping running back Nick Chubb and streaky true freshman quarterback Jacob Eason.
Though there is no official update on his playing status, we’ll see if he can take the field when the No. 14 Gators (5-1, 3-1) and Bulldogs (4-3, 2-3) meet at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.
