Florida on Tuesday announced it will honor the late Ray Graves, who coached 10 years at the school and later served for two decades as athletic director, with an ‘RG’ helmet sticker this season.

Graves died in April at age 96. He posted nine winning seasons from 1960-69 in Gainesville and finished 70–31–4 over his decade stretch.

Graves is a member of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame, the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame (where he played and coached) and the College Football Hall of Fame.

The Ray Graves Trophy is currently presented to Florida’s most valuable player each season.

On Sunday, South Carolina announced it will wear a special helmet sticker to honor Charleston’s Emanuel 9.
