Talented UGA receiver Malcolm Mitchell has had a tough time staying healthy throughout his career.

Mitchell, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL suffered while celebrating a Todd Gurley touchdown against Clemson, is injured again. And itโ€™s his knee again.

The school confirmed that Mitchell injured his right knee earlier this week and had it scoped Thursday “to address a cartilage injury”, and his timetable for return is unknown at this point. Heโ€™ll at least miss the opening of fall camp.

Mitchell hurt his leg this spring during the Bulldogsโ€™ practice, but he was expected to be a go for fall camp before his latest injury.

Georgiaโ€™s X-factor could be Mitchell, but heโ€™s had trouble staying healthy long enough to find out. Georgiaโ€™s team suffered several injuries during the 2013 season, and hopefully Mitchell can return for game one against Clemson. Heโ€™s such an explosive weapon in an explosive offense.
