One week before national signing day, longstanding Georgia commitment and three-star WR Shaquery Wilson has flipped to West Virginia.

A 6-foot-3, 190-pound wideout and defensive back from Coral Gables, Fla., he initially committed to the Bulldogs in July before visiting Morgantown, W.Va. — where he took an official visit last weekend.

The Mountaineers visited Wilson at his home Monday, after which he cancelled his official visit to Florida. The Bulldogs followed with an in-home visit as well, but he told them about his change of heart.

Slated to play defensive back at UGA, WVU convinced Wilson he can be a college receiver, thought to be a big factor in his decision to re-think his commitment.

Georgia still holds 25 commitments, including a pair of five-star players and 10 four-star players. The Bulldogs fell two spots nationally to No. 6 according to the 247Sports Composite team rankings with just one week to go.

Wilson is a minor loss for the Bulldogs, which still hold commitments or enrollments from six defensive backs and three receivers.
