Coming into the season, the Georgia Bulldogs had arguably the deepest group of linebackers in all of college football.

Future first-round pick Leonard Floyd is one of those top talents, but the sophomore has struggled lately and was benched against Kentucky in favor of UGA’s newest defensive stud and former five-star recruit Lorenzo Carter.

Carter not only delivered several big hits throughout Georgia’s 63-31 blowout victory, but the Norcross, Ga., native enjoyed a breakout performance.

He tallied nine total tackles, including 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss.
