Although nothing is official yet, former LSU QB Anthony Jennings is reportedly close to making his decision on where he’ll play college football next.

FM 103.7 Cajun Redzone Radio’s Twitter handle first reported the news this morning.

The Advocate then spoke to a source who said Jennings is in the early stages of transferring to Louisiana-Lafayette, but nothing is official yet.

Jennings transferred out of LSU after losing the starting job to QB Brandon Harris.

The signal caller is a rising senior and is scheduled to graduate this summer, according to LSU’s original news release dated March 10, and he has one year of remaining athletic eligibility and can play immediately as a graduate transfer.

“This is an opportunity for Anthony to put himself in a position to help another team have success,” said Les Miles in the school’s release this past March. “We wish him nothing but good fortune in the future and we appreciate all that he did while he was part of our program.”

The Georgia native played in 24 games in three seasons with LSU, making 13 starts and completing 124 of 256 pass attempts for 1,792 yards and 12 touchdowns.
