On multiple occasions this spring, LSU coach Les Miles has publicly called for RB Leonard Fournette to lose weight.

Miles first made the request last month to Tigers beat reporters, and then repeated it Thursday on The Paul Finebaum Show.

Fournette got the message, tweeting to his coach that he’s dropped a few pounds.

Miles has not yet responded on Twitter. LSU’s online bio of Fournette lists the junior at 6-foot-1, 230 pounds.

It has been a Fournette-heavy (no pun intended) news week with reports of two $10 million insurance policies and an ESPN commentator’s suggestion for the Heisman candidate to sit out the 2016 season to avoid injuries.
