LSU’s coach Les Miles will have both of his coordinators close-by this season. Following a closed practice Monday, Miles revealed offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will both be coaching from the sidelines in 2016.

Cameron spent his entire tenure at LSU coaching from the booth before coaching from the sideline during the Tigers’ 56-27 Texas Bowl victory over Texas Tech in December.

“This will be the first time all of my coordinators will be on the sidelines,” Miles said.

He did, however, admit that the decision of having both coordinators at field level “could change,” but it “appears to him,” that all will go as planned during LSU’s first game.

“As best as I got it today, he’s going to be on the sidelines,” Miles said of Cameron. “You could ask me that same question tomorrow, and he’s probably going to be on the sidelines … Until we’re probably about 10 days out, then we’ll refigure it again, and then, he’ll probably be on the sideline.”
