LSU may have lost its top target thanks to FSU's honey fried chicken
LSU signed an impressive recruiting class on Wednesday, but the Tigers missed out on 5-star DT Marvin Wilson, who chose FSU. On social media, some Seminoles fans are having fun with a comment Wilson about the school’s fried chicken.

“The best meal I had by far was when I was at Florida State,” Wilson said in a pre-recorded segment prior to his announcement. “They had this thing called ‘honey fried chicken.’ I was like, ‘that sounds kinda suspect’ and I got one piece. I bit into that one piece of chicken and went and grabbed the pan and we ate that whole pan of honey fried chicken.
“That’s probably the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life.”
One teammate has already promised Wilson will get all the chicken he wants.

And FSU’s student dining system is taking credit on Twitter.
Would it be fair to say we basically secured Marvin Wilson? Welcome to the family @RDMW6! #Tribe17 https://t.co/cNHazhqFaC

We’re all familiar with the facilities arm race, it appears the next round of recruiting battles will be decided in campus kitchens.
