LSU will get back its three suspended players this week, but two of them have lost their starting job.

Cornerback Rashard Robinson, center Elliott Porter, defensive tackle Maquedius Bain and linebacker Ronnie Feist all missed the Wisconsin game due to a suspension, LSU’s sports information director confirmed to the media Saturday.

Robinson and Porter, expected to start, now are listed as backups on LSU’s latest depth chart, with Jalen Collins taking over at cornerback and Ethan Pocic at center.

Coach Les Miles also announced that receiver Malachi Dupre (hamstring) will practice this week. Even if he’s 100 percent healthy, he’s behind the other receivers as a true freshman who didn’t play in the Wisconsin game and hasn’t practiced, but the five-star recruit only adds another young touted player to LSU’s cadre.

Miles also announced that the NCAA has cleared freshman Travonte Valentine, a four-star defensive tackle. Valentine practiced with the team last week, but still must wait for the SEC to approve him to play in games.

Overall, it’s as if the team inherited a mini recruiting class one week after beating Wisconsin. For as bad as things looked for LSU through two-and-a-half quarters, things are pretty shiny this week in Baton Rouge.
