The Ole Miss Rebels have become a hot name on the recruiting trail, attracting more talent to Oxford than ever before in recent memory. Down the line, it is expected that many of those same talented recruits will represent Ole Miss as touted draft prospects on their way to the NFL.

The Rebels have had only 17 players drafted in the last 10 years, including two years in that time without a single draftee and four more with only one player selected.

The Rebels were littered all over draft boards for a two-year stretch from 2009-10 under then-head coach Houston Nutt, and in that time eight former Rebels were drafted, more than were drafted in the four years prior combined (six draftees) or in the four years that would follow combined (three draftees).

And although the Rebels haven’t produced as much NFL talent as SEC West counterparts like Alabama, Auburn, LSU and others, they have claimed four first-round picks in the last 10 years. Players like Laremy Tunsil and Robert Nkemdiche are likely to grow that list of first-round selections at this time next year, when Ole Miss’ storied 2013 recruiting class hits its first year of draft eligibility.

Ole Miss has produced 17 total NFL draft picks in the last decade. Check them out:
