Are you tired of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh yet, SEC fans?

It appears the public display of distastes between the league and the Wolverines’ polarizing coach, which was national news last week, will continue to be a topic of discussion for the foreseeable future.

On Monday, Harbaugh posted this cryptic message to Twitter:

The link attached to his Tweet leads to an opinion piece in The Detroit Free Press titled ‘SEC is silly for attacking spring break plans.’

The contents of the story are questionable and could be described as slanted with an anti-SEC bias.

Here’s an excerpt of the column that gets pretty critical of the conference:

The mighty, dominant SEC, a conference known for oversigning and other questionable recruiting tactics, is worried about ethics on the recruiting trail. If you needed a laugh today, there it is.

SEC powers-that-be seem to be more focused on Harbaugh than their real issues. Tennessee is in the midst of a sexual-assault scandal, and LSU football is being threatened by a budget crisis in Louisiana.

But let’s try to stop big, bad Harbaugh from taking his team to Florida.

The SEC is made of up some of the pettiest, most hypocritical people in college sports, and that it is trying to claim the moral high ground on anything is sad.

It is worth noting that the author of that story also writes for the SBNation Michigan site maizenbrew.com, according to The Free Press.
