For nearly 12 hours every Saturday, SEC fans can plop themselves on their couches and tune into football games all day. No one wants to waste their time watching a boring game, though, so we ranked all seven games that SEC teams are playing in this weekend based on entertainment value (LSU and Alabama have byes this week). These rankings are subjective, but factor in league impact, how exciting and how close the games will be. Games are ranked on a 1-5 Georgia Dome scale (the site of the SEC Championship Game), with 5 being the most watchable game and 1 being the least. Note: all rankings are from the College Football Playoff committee.

5 GEORGIA DOMES

No. 3 Auburn at No. 4 Ole Miss (7 p.m. ET, ESPN): The first playoff elimination game in the SEC should be a good one. Auburn’s fast-paced, zone-read offense. Ole Miss’ fast, mean defense. The Rebels are coming off their first loss of the season, while Auburn just squeaked by South Carolina last week. Both teams should be extra motivated, as the loser will almost certainly be eliminated from both College Football Playoff and SEC West contention.

4 GEORGIA DOMES

– Arkansas at No. 1 Mississippi State (7:15 p.m. ET, ESPN 2): Now that Mississippi State officially holds down the top spot in the College Football Playoff, every game’s importance is amplified. If you like running and hitting and more running, this game is going to be a blast. Both teams have potent running games led by top-notch talent. With that in mind, this should be a quick affair.

3 GEORGIA DOMES

– Florida vs. No. 11 Georgia (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS): These teams have a colorful history against each other, and the field in Jacksonville will be colorful as well if you’re into aesthetics (both teams will wear their home uniforms). Treon Harris is making his first career start at quarterback as the Gators are playing for Will Muschamp’s job, while Georgia is trying to keep its playoff hopes alive without Todd Gurley.

Tennessee at South Carolina (7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network): Yet another game that should be pleasing to the eye, with South Carolina donning black jerseys (and just maybe an alternate helmet), while Tennessee could be rocking their home orange, giving the field a Halloween look. This is another weird rivalry, and even if the programs are down Steve Spurrier tends to bring his A-game against the Volunteers.

– Kentucky at Missouri (4 p.m. ET, SEC Network): Believe it or not, Missouri and its moribund offense are actually tied for first in the SEC East, although Georgia holds the tiebreaker thanks to a head-to-head win. Kentucky is a frisky team, as they proved last weekend against Mississippi State, and they could end Missouri’s chances in the division with the road upset.

2 GEORGIA DOMES

– Louisiana-Monroe at Texas A&M (12 p.m. ET, SEC Network): The Aggies will look to end their downward spiral against Louisiana-Monroe, and they might be in for more of a fight than they’d like. The Warhawks gave LSU some issues back in September, although they couldn’t score on the Tigers and have fallen to 3-4 since then. While the Aggies are no longer contending for anything but a mid-level bowl game, there’s some intrigue in finding out who the quarterback of the future will be, either Kenny Hill or Kyle Allen.

1 GEORGIA DOME

Old Dominion at Vanderbilt (7 p.m. ET, ESPNU): If you can help it, you probably want to pass on this one.
