If you plan on taking the under for Saturday’s SEC East contest between South Carolina and Florida, you better hope for a defensive slugfest.

With a total over/under set at 37.5 — or five touchdowns and a safety — Vegas is expecting a low-scoring affair in The Swamp. That’s not too surprising, considering the two teams have struggled mightily at times this season; Florida ranks 10th in the SEC in scoring offense (27.0) and the Gamecocks enter Week 11 with the conference’s lowest point total (19.2).

This specific O/U, though, is tied for the lowest total of the season and there have only been 52 that low since 2005.

For the record, seven of South Carolina’s nine games this season have hit the under — the third-most in college football. Florida has hit the under in five of eight.
