Is Alabama’s JK Scott the top returning weapon on special teams in the SEC?

One could certainly make the argument considering he posted the single-most impressive season for a punter in program history as a true freshman in 2014, earning first team All-American honors after leading the nation in punting at 48 yards per kick.

If there’s ever such thing as a punter leaving early after three years, Scott could be that guy with two more noteworthy seasons. He often flipped the field for the Crimson Tide last fall during their SEC Championship run and was college football’s most consistent in the kicking game.

There’s plenty of time for Scott, who is naturally quiet, to generate comical Heisman buzz similar to Drew Kaser’s campaign at Texas A&M last season.
