The top plays of Week 2 were exciting in more ways than one.

While most of last week’s SEC games featured uninspiring opponents, conference play finally opened up in Week 2. That meant plenty of flashy plays that were also meaningful, especially in close contests.

Here are the five most exciting plays of Week 2:

5. Isaiah McKenzie finds the hole

Major props go to the Vine user who superimposed an old school joystick over this 77-yard punt return. McKenzie and his Bulldogs are kind of an old school team, anyway, so it adds a nice visual element to his juking and stiff arming.

4. Chad Kelly’s bomb

A lot of plays look cooler when sped up, and the 50-yard touchdown from Mississippi’s quarterback is no exception. I think the Rebels found their QB, you guys.

3. Jeremy Johnson ties the game

Johnson didn’t have the greatest game for the Tigers, but the Auburn QB came through in the clutch on this game-tying touchdown throw. Melvin Ray did a nice job of catching the ball at its high point, too.

2. Leonard Fournette goes airborne

The LSU running back was all over the field for the Tigers in the fourth quarter, but this touchdown was especially impressive against a stacked Mississippi State defensive front.

1. Patrick Towles snaps the streak

Kentucky’s quarterback was unusually accurate en route to the Wildcats first SEC road win in six seasons, but it’s this gutsy keeper that won the game.
