Rapper Lil Jon provided the Neyland Stadium crowd with some inspiration before today’s game against Florida. Wearing a Tennessee orange and white t-shirt, the Atlanta-native sent a message to the Vols fans in attendance.

Tennessee adopted a new tradition this season, blaringย Jonโ€™s hit songย โ€œTurn Down For What?โ€ over the Neyland Stadium loudspeakers on opposing teamโ€™s third down possessions. While playing the song, the jumbotron displays the phrase โ€œThird Down For What?โ€, which has become extremely popular among fans, especially within the student section.

Coincidentally, Tennesseeโ€™s defense has forced opponents to an 11-of-53 (20.8 percent) third down conversion rate thisย season.
