Tennessee fans fire back at Steve Spurrier on Twitter

It didn’t take Steve Spurrier long before he took a jab at long-time SEC East rival Tennessee at SEC Media Days.

It took 91 seconds before Steve Spurrier’s first poke at Tennessee during his opening comments. Longer than expected!

Spurrier hasn’t beaten Tennessee in two seasons, and the Vols are the team that kept the Gamecocks out of Atlanta in 2013. The Gamecocks also blew a fourth-quarter lead in 2014 to eventually lose in overtime 45-42.

Tennessee fans don’t like Spurrier too much, and several of them reacted to his comments on Twitter:
