Tennessee flips nation's No. 3 kicker prospect from Southern Miss
Tennessee’s Nashville based STATEment camp has already begun to pay dividends as the Vols landed a commitment from top in-state kicking prospect Brent Cimaglia following the conclusion of Sunday’s camp.
Cimaglia had been committed to Southern Miss before landing a Tennessee offer at the camp. The Volunteer State’s best specialist prospect tweeted out the news Sunday evening:
Very grateful for the opportunity given at USM. However I will be de-committing and furthering my football career at the Univ. of Tenn #vols

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Franklin, Tenn., native is currently rated as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 3 placekicker recruit by 247Sports. Those in attendance have reported Cimaglia had an impressive performance at the camp, which obviously must have created a strong impression on Tennessee’s staff.
