Vanderbilt’s three-year stretch of having a player drafted may come to an end this week unless a team takes a chance long snapper Andrew East or outside linebacker Kyle Woestmann according to Gil Brandt, a senior analyst for NFL.com who attended the Commodores’ pro day on March 10.

Representatives from 12 NFL teams were in attendance including Tennessee Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt in hopes of getting a closer look at potential late-round selection or post-draft free agent signings.

Vanderbilt’s last first-round pick was offensive tackle Chris Williams in 2008. Ironically, the Chicago Bears also took Jay Cutler No. 11 overall in 2006, the Commodores’ other first-round selection in the last decade.
