Vanderbilt quarterback Patton Robinette will miss his third consecutive game Saturday against Charleston Southern, according to the team’s official depth chart. The sophomore suffered a concussion in the first quarter of a Week 4 loss to South Carolina and hasn’t made an appearance since.

Freshman Wade Freebeck will start in Robinette’s absence. Freebeck replaced Stephen Rivers in Vanderbilt’s loss to Georgia, one week after losing the starting job. He has 356 yards, a touchdown and five interceptions on 29-of-65 passing, after burring his redshirt by starting in Week 3.
